let me tell you mine..My name is Erica. I’m a San Antonio local, a photographer, and a social media consultant!
My friends call me the #SelfieQUEEN
I specialize in Event, Brand, and Headshot Photography In my spare time you can find me coaching kids soccer and playing in soccer leagues.
My mother passed away from ALS (Lou-Geriegs Disease) she is my why. She is my guardian angel helping me help others. That is why I love working with Non-Profits as well as volunteering and going on mission trips!
how it started
In elementary. My mama would always take photos of my friends and I! I believe thats were I found the love of photographer was through her! Heck in middle school a while back I got in trouble for having a tiny canon camera on the last day of school! Back in the day, they didn't want you to take photos! Crazy how much has changed!
I pursued this initial love in college – photographing for the men's soccer team. I took a film class in college it was so exciting to see photos come to life in the darkroom. (Though I felt like I was in the dark room FOREVERRRR! ) Anyway when my friends saw my photos, they asked me to take their grad photos and sports photos, and from there, my photo skills snowballed into events and headshots
Post-graduation, I worked at a finance and marketing firm. But my heart ached to go all in on my love of photography. Plus, I wanted the freedom to travel. And asking for permission to go on an adventure is not very Erica. Lolz!
I took the plunge, becoming a full-time photographer. Fast forward, I’ve captured multiple events, galas and headshots. With my camera in hand, it will be fun to see where the next session takes me.
I am crossing my fingers for a session that takes me to an event in Europe! Or an energy-filled gala with a non-profit that has a special milestone. Both work.
